Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Cana Plus, and tap Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

I subscribed but the app still says Free.

Open the profile menu → SubscriptionRestore Purchases. That re-checks your Apple ID's purchase history.

If it still doesn't appear, email us with your Support ID — you'll find it on that same screen — and we'll sort it out.

Does everyone in my group need to pay?

No. Only the person who creates and leads the group needs Cana Plus. Members join free and take part fully, including the AI study guides the group generates.

Can I use Cana without an account?

Yes. Reading the Bible, verse explanations, and the daily verse all work without signing in. Ask, Saved, and Groups need Sign in with Apple, because they sync across your devices or involve other people.

Are my conversations private?

Your Ask conversations, bookmarks, and devotionals are stored in your own iCloud account. We can't read them. Group content — prayer requests, shared notes — is visible to the other members of that group.

Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

Email us from the address on your account and we'll remove your account, profile, and group memberships. Content you posted in a group may remain visible to that group as part of its history.

I found a bug, or something's wrong in a verse.

Please tell us — email us with the passage or a screenshot. Scripture text comes from public-domain translations, and we'd rather know about mistakes than not.

Reaching a person

Cana is a small project. Email gets to someone who can actually change the app, and we aim to reply within a couple of days.

If you're in crisis, please don't wait on us — contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country.
